The mission of the California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP) is to eliminate breast cancer by leading innovation in research, communication, and collaboration in the California scientific and lay communities. The Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County (CRCMC) has been granted a Community Research Collaboration award to study our Consultation Planning service, in cooperation with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Decision Services. Current CBCRP Project Information
We are currently studying the efficacy of telephone versus face-to-face Consultation Planning. This study began in 2007 and will run for three years. This study is for women over 18 with a breast cancer diagnosis in Mendocino or Lake counties. If you are interested in joining the study, please contact our offices and we can provide more information.
Past CBCRP Projects Information
CRCMC participated in two research projects with CBCRP prior to the current project. These also studied different aspects of the Consultation Planning and Recording service.
